Are you 20 years of age or older; either an athletic male or female interested in playing an exciting, fun and unique winter sport? Look no further! Broomball is your answer. For only $225 you can experience the sport of a lifetime.
The CBA offers primetime Thursday night ice slots for mixed (co-ed) players, starting at 7:45 PM from October until March for a minimum of 16 games. All games are played at Stew Hendry Arena. In addition to the league games there are several tournaments throughout the season.

The mixed league is NON-CONTACT and encourages both NEW players and experienced players to improve their skills, get exercise and most of all – have fun! We will have more experienced players on the ice to help develop and coach less experienced players.

Equipment provided: On your first and second game, shoes and a stick will be provided. If you choose to play for the remainder of the season, you will need to purchase your own shoes and stick (we will continue to provide them in the event your equipment is on order).
Required Equipment: A hockey helmet (bike and other sport helmets not permitted)
Strongly recommended equipment: Knee and Elbow pads
Other equipment: Other pads and protection.
Game Play: There are currently 2 teams, and it is this year's goal to develop a 4 team league by mid season. Requires minimum 40 players.

Code of Conduct: All players, coaches, officials, and parents associated with the CBA are governed by the “Calgary Broomball Association - Code of Conduct”. Please review before registering by clicking the Stick:
Refund Policy: All registration payments are 100% NON-REFUNDABLE. In cases of serious injury or other extenuating circumstances individual refunds may be given provided the minimum number of players have registered. Decisions are at the discretion of Calgary Amateur Broomball Association.
Calgary Amateur Broomball Association has the right to cancel your membership WITHOUT REFUND OF ANY FEES PAID if a violation of the posted rules and regulations is experienced. This includes, but is not limited to, fines or suspensions, facility abuse, conduct detrimental to the association.
The Calgary Amateur Broomball Association is affiliated with the Alberta Broomball Association and the Canadian Broomball Federation.
